Your privacy matters

The Living God Church Exeter is responsible for the personal information we collect through this website. If you have a privacy question or want to exercise your rights, email tlgc.exe@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, subject and message, together with the date and status of your enquiry. We use these to respond and keep track of our conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in helping people contact the church and managing enquiries. You do not have to use the form to browse our website, and sending a message does not sign you up to marketing.

We also use staff account information and essential technical information to manage and protect the website. Our hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser details and security logs. Please only include information needed for your enquiry, and avoid sending sensitive personal details or information about others through the general contact form.

Who can see your information

Enquiries are stored in a private inbox accessible to authorised church staff. We use Vercel to host the website and public media, and Supabase to store website data. These providers process information to deliver their services. We do not sell your personal information. We may share relevant information where required by law or where necessary to protect someone, using an appropriate legal basis.

Our database is hosted in London. Providers may also process information in other countries; applicable UK data-protection safeguards are required for restricted international transfers. Contact us for information about the arrangements that apply to your data.

How long we keep it

We delete routine enquiries within 12 months of resolution, unless a specific legal obligation or documented ongoing matter requires us to keep them longer. Church administrators carry out this review; deletion is not automatic. Staff account information is kept while access is needed, with any necessary records retained for security or legal purposes. Technical logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention arrangements. Contact us for further details.

Photos, cookies and other websites

Photos, stories and documents published on this website can be seen and copied by others. Uploaded website media can also be accessed by anyone who has its file link. If you have a concern about a photo or story featuring you, please contact us.

The website currently has no advertising trackers or analytics integrations. Staff sign-in uses essential authentication cookies, and the editing system may save interface preferences. External websites linked from our pages have their own privacy and cookie policies.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. We may need to verify your identity and will explain any applicable exceptions. Email tlgc.exe@gmail.com to make a request.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We will update this notice when our website or practices change.
